Dead Prez is an American political Hip-Hop duo composed of stic.man and M-1.
They are known for their confrontational style combined with militant anarchist and pan-Africanist lyrics.
These lyrics tend to focus on social justice, critical pedagogy, institutional racism, police, capitalism,
education, prison systems, religion, activism against political repression, and corporate control over the media,
especially Hip-Hop record labels. Dead Prez made their stance clear on their first album, declaring
on the lead song, “I’m a African” that the group is “somewhere between N.W.A. and P.E..”

New York, NY (June 17, 2010) Dead Prez officially marked the 10th anniversary of their monumental
debut album “Let’s Get Free” with the June 22nd released of “Turn Off the Radio Vol. 4: Revolutionary But Gangsta Grillz”
with a collaborative effort with southern mixtape DJ Drama. The commemorative project showcase
Dead Prez taking over of current songs as well as new unreleased Dead Prez music.

Tuesday April 12, 2005 Russell Simmons Music Group (RSMG) officially named entertainment industry executive Tony Austin President of RSMG. Russell Simmons Music Group (RSMG) has been formed as a 50/50 joint label with Island Def Jam (IDJ) to include a label deal and consultancy agreement.

Tony Austin has had a remarkable career in entertainment industry. He founded King Shah Productions in January 1994. The company produced extremely successful comedic tours with Steve Harvey, Chris Tucker and John Witherspoon, as well as a large-scale concert production of the R. Kelly and LL Cool J tour. In 2002, Tony Austin is also the founder of the production company, Chocolate City Music, which served as an incubator to develop and nurture artists such as Dru Hill, DMX, Case, Comp, Buddafly and many others. Austin has been an A&R executive for Def Jam since 2003 and there, worked with such artists as DMX, Comp and Buddafly.

Throughout his endeavors he has remained an A&R consultant for the Island Def Jam.

Now Mr. “Make It Happen” Austin teamed up with DJ Drama for another Gangsta Grillz’s series.

Drama is best known for producing mixtapes, including the successful “Gangsta Grillz” series and Dedication 2, which the New York Times calledone of the “10 best recordings of 2006″.DJ Drama owns Aphilliates Music Group with DJ Don Cannon & and DJ Sense. In 2006, Aphilliates Music Group inked a label dealwith Asylum Records.There is a new rumor that DJ Drama plans to take his Aphilliates Music Group company over to Def Jam Recordings in 2010 through a Joint Venture with the label.

Dorwin Demarcus Dorrough (born October 28, 1986), better know by his stage name Dorrough, is an American rapper. Dorrough was born and raised in Dallas, Texas. He attended Lancaster High School in Lancaster, Texas, where he was captain of the basketball team. He attends Prairie View A&M University. Dorrough started his musical career giving out mixtapes at basketball games at his high school.
After the success of the second released single, “Ice Cream Paint Job” two remixes were recorded. On August 11, 2009, the first “Ice Cream Paint Job” (Remix) was released, which featured artists such as Soulja Boy, Jermaine Dupri, Jim Jones, Slim Thug, E-40 & Rich Boy. To differentiate the two remixes, people called the first remix “Down South“. Later, a second remix was released, and was dubbed “West Coast Remix“, a reference to the California residences of two of the featured artists, Snoop Dogg and E-40.

Bobby Ray Simmons (born November 15, 1988), also known as Bobby Ray, or B.o.B, is an American recording artist and producer from Atlanta, Georgia. He is currently signed under the labels of Grand Hustle and Atlantic Records.

Bobby Ray began playing the trumpet and other instruments throughout elementary school. While in high school, he formed a production duo called the Klinic. When he was fifteen years old, his manager B-Rich sold one of his beats to Citty, a Slip-n-Slide Records artist.

Otis Williams Jr., (born November 26, 1981) better known by his stage name OJ da Juiceman, is an American rapper and founder of vanity label 32 Entertainment.
Williams grew up with his single mother in eastern Atlanta. During the late 1990s, Williams met rapper Gucci Mane, with whom he would later collaborate as OJ da Juiceman. After releasing over a dozen mixtapes hosted by such DJ’s as DJ Drama.
OJ also appeared on Jadakiss’s single “Who’s Real” and R. Kelly’s “Supaman High” and has a new mixtape with DJ Holiday called ” Alaska in Atlanta. OJ’s second album is to be titled The Otis Williams Jr. Story.
