Rapper Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs is supposedly considering proposing marriage to Kim Porter. Kim Porter is ‘Diddy’s’ long time girlfriend and children’s mother. Sources say that “Diddy” has purchased a twelve carat diamond ring and has handed singer Cassie her walking papers.

Gyant Unplugged claims to have a source that said “Diddy” is also filing for joint custody of his illegitimate child with Sarah Chapman. In an interview with Elle Magazine, “Diddy” said that his psychologist had come to the conclusion that after his father got killed and his mother vowed never to marry again, he’s never been able to witness a husband and wife’s love.
“Diddy” quoted “Sometimes when I see it with my friends, I just find myself staring like a child because I’ve never actually seen it before. It’s one of the sad parts of my life. When a relationship gets to a certain point, I probably get scared and become a little self-destructive”, as told in an interview with Elle Magazine.

Word is that rapper Lil’ Wayne has a new girlfriend — Shanell. According to gossip sites such as MediaTakeout and FreddieO, Weezy and Young Money’s Shanell (a.k.a. SNL), who is also D. Woods sister (formerly of Danity Kane), are an item and are madly in love.
Sources say, “Wayne is so in love with that girl. I don’t know what she did, but he is just mush when it comes to her. He loves her drive, personality and the fact that she is so talented. She’s one of his best friends.”

In related news, Lil Wayne was joined by Shanell on his “Farewell Tour” in New Orleans.

Malgré son travail au cinéma, 50 Cent ne souhaite pas délaisser la musique.

TORONTO – Le rappeur 50 Cent a connu son premier succès important il y a sept ans avec “In Da Club”, dans lequel il affirmait qu’on pouvait “le trouver dans un club”.

Aujourd’hui, c’est plutôt à Hollywood que le rappeur est souvent aperçu, lui qui tient des rôles dans plus d’une demi-douzaine de projets actuellement en cours de production.

It’s Official: Lil Wayne Pleads Guilty

Le rappeur Lil Wayne, qui avait remporté un Grammy Award l’an dernier pour son titre rap en solo “A Milli”, a plaidé coupable jeudi de tentative de détention d’arme. Il devrait être condamné à un an de prison.Il avait auparavant plaidé non coupable de détention d’arme, un délit passable d’au moins trois ans et demi de prison.Selon la police, une arme prohibée avait été retrouvée dans son bus de tournée à Manhattan en 2007. Le parquet affirme qu’une petite quantité d’ADN relie l’arme à l’artiste.Parmi les albums du rappeur, Dwayne Carter de son vrai nom, figurent “Tha Carter”, Tha Carter II” et “Tha Carter III”.Son procès doit débuter le 20 janvier.

Lil Wayne, 27 ans, doit également être jugé en Arizona pour possession de drogues et d’arme. Il avait été arrêté en janvier 2008 à un contrôle de police sur une autoroute à l’est de Yuma après l’annonce de la découverte par les autorités de cocaïne, d’ecstasy et d’une arme à feu dans l’autocar qu’il utilisait pour une tournée.

Il a plaidé non coupable de l’ensemble des chefs d’accusation. AP
