DeAndre Cortez Way (born July 28, 1990), better known by
his stage name Soulja Boy Tell ‘Em, or simply Soulja Boy, is an
American rapper, record producer, actor, and entrepreneur.

Way has currently released three studio albums and
one independent album: his debut studio album Souljaboytellem.com
(2007) was certified platinum by the RIAA. However, his next two albums,
iSouljaBoyTellem (2008) and The DeAndre Way (2010) did not match the
commercial success of his debut, the latter only selling 100,000
copies, despite the success of several singles across both
albums, such as, Kiss Me Thru the Phone and Turn My Swag On
(iSouljaBoyTellem) and Pretty Boy Swag (The DeAndre Way).

Promise, is the upcoming fourth studio album by American rapper
Soulja Boy. As of October 2011, it is scheduled to be released in
April 20, 2012, after the debut of the documentary, Soulja Boy: The Movie,
which was released on October 18. It is set to be released through Stacks
on Deck Entertainment, Collipark and Interscope Records. Soulja Boy
will now release the album with Collipark Records, like his 1st
and 2nd albums. His previous album, The DeAndre Way, was not
released through Collipark Records, and experienced
slightly decent album sales. Soulja Boy announced
the name of the album and its cover, but as of now,
no single has been announced.

In the meantime, here’s the second official mixtape
that has been released, in less than 2 weeks, on
the internet from Soulja Boy, himself.
