Jean Grae (real name Tsidi Ibrahim), born November 26, 1976, is a Hip-Hop
artist from New York. She has rose to prominence in NY underground scene
and has an international fanbase. She is known for her skilled rapping
technique is regarded as one of the best female MCs.

Born in Cape Town South Africa, the daughter of South African jazz musicians
(her father and mother are the celebrated musicians Sathima Bea Benjamin
and Abdullah Ibrahim), she studied Vocal Performance at the LaGuardia
School of Music & Art before majoring in Music
Business at New York University.

Previously signed to Babygrande Records, she signed a deal in 2005 with
Talib Kweli’s Blacksmith Records. On 28 April 2008, Jean Grae posted a blog
on her MySpace page saying goodbye to her fans. She later cited disenchantment
with the music industry and desire to start a family as the reasons behind the
‘retirement’ and said that she was working on new material and still wanted
to continue in music: “You know what? I need that Grammy. I think I might
be able to stop after that”. In July 2008, Talib Kweli posted a blog
explaining Grae’s album, mentioning that she was not retiring. The
blog ends encouraging fans to purchase the album, referring to Grae
as “one of the last true MCs left.” Grae returned to doing
live performances later that year.

On September 18, 2008, Jean Grae posted a Craigslist ad offering her
creative services for $800/16 bars. On her MySpace blog entry, she states,
“I don’t wanna complain anymore, I just wanna change some things about
the way artists are treated and the way you guys are allowed
to be involved, since it IS the digital age.

On June 23rd 2011, after an almost 4 year hiatus, Jean released a
free mixtape titled, Cookies or Comas, which features guest appearances
from Styles P, Talib Kweli and Pharoahe Monch, it also includes the
highly praised track, Assassins, from Monch’s W.A.R. album.

An other new album from Jean Grae titled, Cake or Death,
will be released this fall.

Cameron Jibril Thomaz (born September 8, 1987), better known by the stage
name Wiz Khalifa, is an American rapper based in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.
He released his debut album, Show and Prove, in 2006, and signed to Warner Bros.
Records in 2007. His eurodance-influenced single, Say Yeah, received urban
radio airplay, charting on the Rhythmic Top 40 and Hot Rap Tracks charts
in 2008. Khalifa parted with Warner Bros. and released his
second album,Deal or No Deal, in November 2009.

He released the mixtape, Kush and Orange Juice, as a free download in
April 2010; he then signed with Atlantic Records. He is also well-known for
his debut single for Atlantic, Black and Yellow, which peaked at number 1
on the Billboard Hot 100. His debut album for the label,
Rolling Papers, was released on March 29, 2011.

He is being nominated for Best New Artist
at the BET Awards of 2011.

for your patience. Let’s change the game.

J.Cole has purposefully avoided releasing his debut album’s title for fear
of inconsistency. When he receives an actual due date from his record label,
he will then release the album’s title. J.Cole wants Jay-Z to be on his
album, but he has not decided which record he would like to feature
the rap mogul on. He has since officially announced that
Jay-Z will be featured on his debut album.

Finally, on June 21st, J. Cole took to Twitter to announce that
his debut album will drop on September 27th and go under
the title Cole World: The Sideline Story.

Please let me introduce/re-introduce myself shortly. I go by the name of
Knightstalker and I’m an aspiring rapper from overseas, Berlin/Germany to be
exact, but performin English though. Within the last two years I’ve established
myself as an respected artist throughout Germany, Europe and even the USA by
collaborating with the likes of Armageddon (Terror Squad/NYC), Stumik of
Raekwons Ice Water INC. (NYC), Louieville Sluggah of O.G.C (Boot Camp
Clikk/NYC), Laws (Tampa), St.Laz (NYC), Tableek of Maspyke (MA),
Kool Sphere (Verbal Threat/NYC) and lots of well
known French and German artists.

Since the beginning of 2010,
he has released two solo videos, one EP (“The Countdown”) and
twelve digi-singles (available for free download on StalkinSeason).
In the meantime Knightstalker performed in Germany’s capital Berlin as well
as on events throughout the country and Switzerland. By now he has
about 150+ appearances on US-mixtapes under his belt.

His latest release, the song, Thermosphere featuring Dox Boogie (NYC),
LuGuz (NJ) and Fred Diezil (NYC), a metaphor-heavy and headnodic ode
to the herbs, serves as the last teaser for Knightstalker’s upcoming,
The Opening Move Mixtape, scheduled for a July 2011 release.
