Recording artist Abyss Da Dark and producer Panama Red come together to give
you the 1st single, The Reunion, off their second project collaboration,
From My Heart With Love. The video highlighting the relationship
between emcee and producer to that of a boxer and a trainer.
Jawara Haughton (Abyss Da Dark) a Brooklyn, NY native took an interest in rap at the
age of ten. “Abyss” was a word that he used a lot when he was younger in his rhymes and
“Da Dark” part was added by his eldest brother. The name “Abyss Da Dark” holds sentimental
value because his brother chose the name for him and no longer does music. Regardless of
that, Abyss’ passion was installed in him by eldest brother. Abyss already
used to write books so he just made the transition into writing rhymes.
Abyss Da Dark cites his musical influences as his eldest brother Prim Diamonds, early DMX,
Nas, early Jay-Z, Lauryn Hill, and Eminem. These influences cause him to have his music
reflect “emotions bottled in a record”. His aggressiveness on certain records show his
battle rap past. The most important element Abyss’ prides himself on is diversity,
being able to do lyrical records then a song that is alternative.
Abyss’ has dropped three mix tapes from 2007-2008. Opium, Opium 2 the Addiction. In 2009
he released “Forever and a Day” his first project with official producer Panama Red.
Challenged him to create heartfelt music. as quoted by Abyss “To Me wasn’t a mixtape
its special. Its more like a long Ep or something”. In 2010, alone Abyss Da Dark
has released two projects, Opium 3, and, From My Heart with Love. Opium 3 being
a project that Abyss Da Dark gave his lyrical outtake on unoriginal beats in
August. In the month of October he released his long awaited second project
with producer: Panama Red, From My Heart with Love.

Teren Delvon Jones (born August 12, 1972 in Oakland, California), better known
as Del the Funky Homosapien or Del tha Funkee Homosapien, is an American MC.
Cousin of seminal west coast rapper Ice Cube, Del began his career
by writing lyrics for Ice Cube’s band, Da Lench Mob.
In 1991, with the help of Ice Cube, Del released his first solo album,
I Wish My Brother George Was Here, at the age of 18. The album was a commercial
success largely due to the popularity of the hit single, Mistadobalina.
Ultimately Del, who was not pleased with the limited musical range of
the album, severed his production-artist relationship with
Ice Cube for his next album, No Need for Alarm.
Golden Era, is the ninth solo album by American Hip-Hop artist,
Del tha Funky Homosapien, which is released in a three disc set.

Onika Tanya Maraj (born December 8, 1984), better known by her stage name
Nicki Minaj, is a rapper and singer-songwriter from New York City. Born in Trinidad,
Minaj moved to the Queens borough of New York City as a child and graduated from
LaGuardia High School in 2003. She released her first mixtape Playtime Is Over,
in 2007, which was followed by, Sucka Free, and, Beam Me Up Scotty, in 2008
and 2009, respectively. Minaj was discovered by fellow American rapper
Lil Wayne and signed a deal to Young Money Entertainment with
distribution from Universal Motown in August 2009.
Nicki Minaj is now ghostwriting and working on TLC’s Tionne “T-Boz”
