The year is 2010 and Stalkin’ Season is still in full effect! Knightstalker, born and bred in the south-west of
Germany’s capital Berlin, got in touch with rap music for the first time in the mid-nineties. Fascinated by the
rhymes, flows and beats of east- and west coast artists alike, he soon fell in love with the art form called
hiphop. A couple of years later, motivated by his people, he decided to “get his grind on” and started penning
bars on his own. And although German Rap was and is on a steady rise he made the decision to write his lyrics
strictly in English because he feels more comfortable in expressing his self this way. By growing up in the
borough of Neukölln, Knightstalker learned at an early age what it means to live in a borough with a high crime
and unemployment rate. Besides dealing with those socio-political topics he adds his own little twist of modern
day battle rap and storytelling to the mix! Knightstalker is also part of the German End Of The Weak as both
judge and member of the organization crew.

Twelve months, twelve digi-singles

That’s good music for your ears times twelve! Since the beginning of the year, the German (but performing in
English) rap artist Knightstalker drops an exlusive song featuring American, French or German guests on a
monthly basis at knightstalker.bandcamp.com. Every track is accompanied by a remix and/or an
additional song plus instrumentals.

Knightstalker releases a free single featuring Stumik (Ice Water) Berlin, 06/30/2010, “Sinister Fate“,
that’s the name of the brand new digi-single by Berlin’s own Knightstalker, this time guest
starring Stumik from Staten Island/NY. The song is, as its name already indicates, a sinister and dark
documentary of the daily struggle for survival in urban areas all around the world, not just limited
to New York/USA, Berlin/Germany or wherever. Stumik, known as a member of Raekwon’s
Icewater crew is another addition to the impressive roster of this newcomer’s guest artists.
The man responsible for the sound atmosphere of “Sinister Fate” is French producer Shaolin Beatmaker.
The remix version has been produced by Knightstalker’s “in-house” producer Romeo from Berlin.

In his function as a member of the German “End Of The Weak” team Knightstalker will be one of the organizers
and judges at this year’s E.O.Dub World Finals in Berlin (July 15th to 21st 2010). He’ll also be a judge at the End
Of The Weak challenge at this year’s Splash Festival, Europe’s #1 Hip-Hop festival.

The Diplomats, also popularly known as Dipset, are a Harlem-based Hip-Hop group founded by
Cam’ron and Jim Jones in 2000. The original members of the group are Cam’ron, Jim Jones, and Freekey Zekey,
who all grew up together on the East Side of Harlem. Juelz Santana would later be added to the group in 2000.

In April 2010, Cam’ron and Jim Jones announced they ended their feud. In June 2010,
the Dipset reunion began with a teaser titled “Under Construction” and a street single, “Salute”

Dead Prez is an American political Hip-Hop duo composed of stic.man and M-1.
They are known for their confrontational style combined with militant anarchist and pan-Africanist lyrics.
These lyrics tend to focus on social justice, critical pedagogy, institutional racism, police, capitalism,
education, prison systems, religion, activism against political repression, and corporate control over the media,
especially Hip-Hop record labels. Dead Prez made their stance clear on their first album, declaring
on the lead song, “I’m a African” that the group is “somewhere between N.W.A. and P.E..”

New York, NY (June 17, 2010) Dead Prez officially marked the 10th anniversary of their monumental
