Carlos Walker, better known by his stage name Shawty Lo, is an American rapper, founder of D4L Records, and
member of hip hop group D4L. His debut album, Units in the City, was released on February 26, 2008.
Walker was raised in the Bowen Homes housing project, located in Bankhead, Atlanta. By the age of 17,
Carlos had fathered his first child, He now has a total of nine children: seven daughters and two sons
Shawty Lo’s second solo album, “I Am Carlos” is due to be released in 2010. Artists to be featured include
